Located just east of Cabo San Lucas, Monuments is a left point break that requires skill and experience. Only for seasoned or expert surfers, this spot can be a little tricky due to its challenging conditions. Look for the entrance near the Missiones del Cabo hotel in the Cabo corridor, marked by a statue or monument. Below the hotel’s restaurant is where you’ll find this break. Even when the rest of the area is flat, Monuments can offer decent size waves. Make sure to check the surf report and tide charts before heading out. When the conditions are right, you’ll be rewarded with a thrilling ride and breathtaking views of the coastline. It’s important to note that Monuments is a well-known surf spot, and as a result, it can get crowded at times. However, the energy in the water is infectious, and the camaraderie amongst fellow surfers makes for an unforgettable experience.
